How To Use Massage Gun Heads and Tips

Each Stryke Recovery Massage Gun comes with a range of interchangeable massage tips or attachments. Each plug-n-go tip is designed for different body parts, muscle groups, sensations, and effects. To get the best results for your percussion therapy it is important to choose the right attachment for each muscle area and gradually increase pressure as needed and comfortable, we recommend 15 seconds to 2 minutes per muscle group.

The go-to massage gun tip - Great for small, medium and large muscle areas and ideal for beginners, this attachment is the most versatile. Perfect for muscle activation pre-workout, re-activation of muscle during workouts as well as the important post-workout recovery phase. We recommend you start your percussion therapy experience with this tip before exploring the other attachments.

The Big Brother of the Round Ball Head - The Large Round Ball Head is suited for those larger muscle groups and ideal for pre-workout muscle activation, re-activation of muscle during workouts as well as the important recovery phase post workout.

For a more dense massage - With its larger, flat contact surface area and no sharp edges, the Flat Head Tip provides a more firm massage than the round ball head. This attachment is ideally suited for medium to larger muscle areas and a great multi-purpose option for pre-, during and post-workout muscle activation and recovery. It is also great for scraping of scar tissue built up on the facia.

Soft tissue relaxation - Also know as Cushion Head or Pneumatic Head this one is best suited for the smaller muscle groups around the neck and hand or sensitive and tender muscles. The most appropriate choice when treating chronic pain and ailments.

Best suited for following muscle groups: neck (below C4), hand and feet.

The ridge massage - The Fork Head offers a two-pronged massage tip to target areas such as the spine, the Achilles or either side of muscle groups like your biceps. This attachment is a great option to treat lower-back pain as well as muscle tension along the back of the neck (below C4).

Stryke Recovery Massage Gun Heads can be changed on all models by pulling the attachment firmly from it’s socket and pushing the replacement tip firmly back in the same position. Each tip is specifically designed for a specific massage gun model. It is not recommended to fit tips on models other than specified. Replacement tips can be purchased individually here
